About Us

New Paradigm Christian Church began as an idea in May, 1992, it was then that John Fuller resigned from Westlane Christian Church and approached CCEA (Christian Church Evangelizing Association) about planting an interracial church on the north side of Indianapolis. A small group from Westlane Christian Church met together on Saturday nights for prayer, communion and planning. We left Sundays open so we could visit other churches for ideas. Our official start date was October 4, 1992. We first met in the Wyndham Garden Hotel. Then after a couple of months, we moved to the Embassy Suites on Michigan Road, where we stayed until September of 1995. It was then that we purchased our current building in Broad Ripple. The first Board of Directors were: John Fuller, Scot Overdorf, Marvel Woods, Donna Brooks, Felicia Bourne, Marilyn Sadler, Ron Wolford and Bill Wilham.

We believe…

  1. That there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And He wants a relationship with all of us.
  2. That the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error and that it contains indisputable confirmation of the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His future return to earth in power and glory.
  3. That God’s grace and man’s faith together constitute salvation. Repentance, confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and baptism by immersion bring the promise of eternal life as explained and illustrated in the New Testament.
  4. That the Holy Spirit guides, equips and empowers Christians to live holy and productive lives.
  5. That being active in the church by doing your specific ministry and being active in the world by doing the Mission: The Great Commission is essential to living a fulfilling Christ-centered lifestyle.
  6. In the unity of all believers in Jesus Christ on the terms of the Bible and we seek to spread the good news of Jesus throughout our community and the entire world.
